It’s almost November, which means it’s time to reveal everything you can look forward to in the app!

November Research Breakthroughs

From Monday, November 1, at 1pm PDT to Wednesday, December 1, at 1pm PST research encounters (completed by completing field research 7 days in a row) will encounter Vullaby.

1 PokeCoin Bundles

As we anticipated, and have seen in previous months, due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, Niantic will continue offering Weekly 1 PokeCoin bundles every Monday throughout November, featuring a Remote Raid Pass and various other items for 1 PokeCoin.

November Raid Encounters

The following Pokemon will be found in raids throughout the month:

Darkrai

Available in raids NOW until November 5, 2021 at 10am local time.

Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion

These three legendaries will be available to encounter from Friday, November 5 until Tuesday, November 16 at 10am local time. They will all know a special attack: Sacred Sword and are all available to catch as a shiny.

Cresselia

Cresselia will be appearing in T5 raids from Tuesday, November 16 to Wednesday, December 1 at 10am local time and will have a shiny available.

Mega Absol

Mega Absol is currently in raids and can be countered through November 5, 2021 at 10am local time, with a shiny possible.

Mega Manectric

Mega Manectric returns to raids from Friday, November 5 to Tuesday, November 16 at 10am local time. There is a shiny encounter possible with this mega raid!

Mega Lopunny

Mega Lopunny also returns to raids this November, appearing in Mega Raids from Tuesday, November 16 to Wednesday, December 1, at 10 am local time. A shiny encounter is also possible with this raid!

Raid Hours

From 6pm to 7pm local time each Wednesday, Raids sharply increase during raid hour. Here’s the upcoming features:

November 3: Darkrai

November 10: Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion

November 17: Cresselia

November 24: Cresselia

Spotlight Hour

Every Tuesday, from 6pm to 7pm, a different Pokemon is featured in the spotlight. This month’s features are:

November 2: Cacnea (2x Catch Candy)

November 9: Chinchou (2x Transfer Candy) (Shiny Possible!)

November 16: Turtwig (2x Catch Stardust) (Shiny Possible!)

November 23: Chimchar (2x Catch XP) (Shiny Possible!)

November 30: Piplup (2x Catch Candy) (Shiny Possible!)

Community Day

This month, on November 21, from 11am to 5pm, the featured Pokemon during Community Day is Shinx! You can evolve Luxio during the event to get a Luxray that knows Psychic Fangs. You can read more about this here.

Dia de Muertos: From November 1 to November 2, there are special research tasks, and other special events in Pokemon GO!
