Background

Moltres is a Fire/ Flying legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation 1. When injured, Moltres enters the lava of a volcano, and its fiery temperature helps heal its wounds. They say when Moltres appears, it brings spring with it.

Availability

  • Moltres will be in raids from July 14th 2022, 10am local time to July 22nd 2022 10 am local time.
  • Its Shiny form will be available.
  • Since it is a Fire/Flying type, it is boosted by Windy, Clear and Sunny weather.
  • It’s 100% IV is 1980 (Non-Boosted) and 2475 (Boosted).
  • It will be featured during a raid hour on July 20th and at 6pm-7pm Local Time.

Counters

Moltres is a Fire/ Flying type, so it is weak to Rock, Water, Electric type moves. Any Pokémon with these types of moves serve as effective counters!

  • Ramparados with Smack Down and Rock Slide.
  • Tyranitar with Smack Down (Legacy) and Stone Edge.
  • Terrakion with Smack Down and Rock Slide.
  • Rhyperior with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker (Legacy).
